Emotional healing is found in a variety of mediums. Whether through meditation, mindfulness training, storytelling, drama, writing, and yes- even abstract art. My mom, who passed away in January of 2011, loved kaleidoscopes. She was amazed how she could create a whole new world with one little twist of the hand. She compared it to being a lot like life. Every choice we make, no matter how big or small can lead to a whole new life design. The choices were endless, not right or wrong, good or bad, but just another piece of our life's design. I find that creating kaleidoscopic abstract art is a refreshing, calming, and healing way to move along the path life has in store for me. I hope you will find that too!
