Colored pencils are my favorite tools of craft. They allow me to get as close to the real thing as possible. I was always a fan of the 'real thing'. I set references into composition, choose a light source and start creating the 'real world'. I laso sometimes combine coloured pencils with soft pastels, especialy on larger format drawings.
