"The topic Blacks in the Bible, has been of utmost interest to me for several years. In studying this subject, I have grown spiritually and have also began to increase my understanding of my ancestors' contributions to the Biblical story as well as to ancient history. To the extent that I know this history, I know myself. This study of the Bible has continually provided fresh inspiration for a series of paintings and drawings which I have entitled "Blacks in the Bible".

I have contributed these articles because I want to share with my people what my God has inspired me to research. I personally believe the Almighty has a specific purpose for African Americans whom He (God) has freed from slavery."

It is written, "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light." (I Peter 2:9)
