I'm not really sure when I became a pilgrim. I guess it was the day I left the gear on the table, set aside a meeting and went home at 02.00pm to sit in front of the TV and started channel surfing. That Sept. 3, I, like many others, look for on American television the way of being there, close, closer. Then, quite by accident, came the trip and in it the possibility to be there eventually. It will soon a year since then, but it seems like yesterday. I've started the countdown ... the countdown to re-start my pilgrimage. This time, I do it with two friends. The three of us we have already prepared our suitcases. They are full of clothes. Most of them are either too large or too small, some are not even ours but our husbands or children. It is a gift for those which need help and encouragement. Sylvia is keeping track of the days remaining to be there and Olga dreams about her first time in LA to pay tribute as we did last year. Sara will be a pilgrim too and she will do in a special way: championing a flag with a white dove carrying a sunflower in its beak and escorted by the names of all who love Him. Pent-up emotions, desires, and messages to bring, prays, friends who look forward to his trip in 2012 ... In exactly 25 days all of us, we'll be pilgrims again ... because no matter where you actually are, for all of us every day number 25th becomes a special day and next June 25th all of us, we will have our hearts again in Neverland and Forest Lawn.
