This gallery features photos that have been most popular on my Flickr website, or that are my own personal favorites. They are a mixture of urban nature (especially trees and leaves) taken mostly in San Francisco, as well as urban scenes (without people), architectural fragments (windows, rooftops, doors), and macro/abstract shots of fences, walls, stairways, sidewalks and more. I love color and texture, so that's what I often focus on. I love seeing the poetry in everyday, "ordinary" objects and places that I pass when I'm out walking the dog. I love how light and shadow can transform the world. I'm adding them slowly . . . until the Flickr uploader is working again.
